Abattoir is an artist-run nomadic platform organized by artists who share studios in a listed barn in The Meatpacking District, Copenhagen. The name Abattoir - the English word for slaughterhouse - refers to the historical function of the place they work. Abattoir primarily showcases experimental exhibitions by artists with both Danish and international backgrounds.

[,] is an exhibition composed of discarded computers, furniture and stormwater crates, patient clothing, found images and carved wood.
It envisions a time where we are carried and protected by other species and antiquated computational devices. A time in which they are important to us as kin and valuable resources. The title is a pictogram and can represent, for example, a placeholder, an empty list, a start or an end, or a box.
This exhibition could not have been realised without Anne Sofie Skjold Møller, Aske Hvitved, Sofie Meta Schroeder, and friends of Halmtorvet 11A-F and Abattoir.
